Smile it's Monday! You asked…we deliver Forum NOKIA, VCs, angels, investors!

This content-packed MoMoVan promises to be one of the best ever. NOKIA Forum from its California offices is scouting for BC innovators and offer FREE training and some awesome prizes. That presentation will be followed by an exciting panel discussion on "Access to Capital for Start-Ups" and lots of networking.

Rooting Android for fun and profit

To start the evening Joseph Luk from ika mobile and one of MoMoVan's volunteers will show us in less than 15 minutes how with a few clicks, a moderately tech-savvy user can customize their Android phone to disable ads from the major ad networks, across all apps. What does rooting and re-flashing mean today for users, developers, and the Android platform? He'll demonstrate some of the possibilities on a Samsung Galaxy S.

Forum Nokia – Calling All Innovators!

Martin Barclay from Forum Nokia (Mt. View, CA office) will represent Nokia.

  • He'll be covering the "Calling All Innovators/10M" contest that Nokia recently announced for developers in the US and Canada. (www.callingallinnovators.com/10M)
  • He will also promote the FREE 2 day Qt training that Nokia will be offering in Vancouver in November 18-19. (http://events.forum.nokia.com/invitation/qtvancouver)
  • And, to top it off, he'll have a couple Nokia N8 devices to giveaway to some lucky developers!
